An old friend, Zak Keith (now residing in Sweden) is looking for you, Doug!

Douglas Pashley!

It's been 22 years since we last spoke.

It was nothing short of a miracle for me to meet someone like you on Koh Samui back in the day. I was at a crossroads, about to shed the old, to rethink and redefine myself... It had always been my dream to continue working as a professional recording musician, sessionist, songwriter & composer, but I had put that part of my life on hold for a few years. So when you came along, you became a big influence in my life. I learned a lot from you. Mostly, I learned from your go-for-it attitude, to get definite about what I wanted when it came to a career with music; to aim high and shoot for the stars. Because of you I was set back on the course my life should have taken. I stopped being complacent—not that I had that many laurels to rest on back then anyway ;-)

Needless to say, I look back with fondness at those gigs we threw together at Annika Bungalows, and the times we hung out with Dan Bøge (Denmark)... I recently got in touch with with Bøge again, and we were thinking about you...

I tried looking you up a few years ago, and found out you were actually working in Scandinavia as well. I wrote to some email address I got from someone in Germany I believe, but never got a reply from you. I know you're around, cos there's a scattering of news of your music all over the Internet, but I haven't found a phone number or email that works...

Please get in touch, old friend!

Happy to say I've managed to locate Doug in neighboring Finland! This page now remains online for purposes of locating other friends we have in common...
